If you begin to have troubles with adapters, for example they stop working because of some mechanical problem or debris which prevents them from lock and unlocking.
You can change the just adapter and keep your band in which you will save money.
Otherwise If the adapter is permanently installed, you would have to change the whole band which is expensive and a higher cost.
